Having bought a 'guaranteed cock and hen pair', that will 'breed for you next year no problems', at stafford on sunday, which once I got them into natural light and checked them over turned out to be two cocks.
I am in need of two hens, the cock birds are both this years birds so ideally I want two hens the same sort of age.
Pm me if you have any with a price and the rough area where you are. I am based in West Midlands.

Have already checked the usual sites but none near me or if they are they are handreared cocks lol.
No breeder info it was at stafford and as soon as I'd handed the money over and he stuffed them in the carry cage he turned round to someone else and started ramming ringnecks into different cages, by the time I got out and checked them when swapping them into a different carry cage it was when everyone was packing up. Wouldn't have taken them back to him anyway after seeing how he handled the birds and checking mine over, they haven't stopped eating yet and have no weight on them. Breeder rings are both totally different so makes me think he didn't even breed them. They are young birds so you couldn't quite see the colouring on the one till you got it out into the light otherwise I'd ave noticed they were both cocks.
Have got some pictures of them let me upload some lol.

I mean we can tell them a part by wing and rump colors but is it possible with young chicks too?

As far as I am aware you should be able to tell as they start to colour up as you can see the colouring in the feather in the sheath.
You can only tell those are defo both male when they turn round and stretch their wings lol.
