My main outdoor flight is connected to a smaller flight inside my garage. The garage is a proper brick built one. Would the birds need extra heat in there during the winter months? I have got a heat lamp rigged up on a timer at the moment but i was wondering if its needed or not. The heat lamp is set up just outside the flight not inside lol.

Hi Its not so much indoor cold as draughts can be the problem. Any temp above freezing is ok....B.J.

I don't have any experience with UK weather but I think Barrie once said that anything above 10°C or 15°C would be fine. There is a complete thread about it. Check it out.
BJ is right about cold winds though.
