Hi ;D
I bred two of my pairs earlier this year and the babies were born in July. I have been noticing that one of the young hens cere has started to go brown and it is completely brown already! She is only just over three months old and I just think its strange. Is it anything to worry about? None of my hens have come into breeding condition until around six months old but this is the first time I have bred budgies. Another of the baby hens has a brown tinge to her cere too.
