so far ive just been using warm water, and a rag, giving the cage a wip down every week or so, but i dont feel like im getting it properly clean. is there any specific things/ products that are budgie safe, for cleaning everything from wooden perches to plastic toys?

Washing with warm soapy water and spraying afterwards with bird safe disinfectant should be enough

F10 is the very best thing to use, but I wash everything in hot soapy water (soaked and scrubbed) and then rinse off with a vinegar solution, again perches and toys soaked.

When I use mine, I have to use a really small syringe to measure it out for dilution. It's diluted down to something like 1ml/1000mls. Can't remember exactly but it's a minuscule amount.

I bought F10Sc 200 ml for £12.75. It's still half full after a year. 100 ml is also available for £8 something.
