Hey everyone, I havent been on here for ages, but thought id let you all know, ill officially be a budgie owner on wednesday! Just was the longest wait ever....been waiting since july, had my cage set up in august! My baby was born October the 17th and his sooo cute. Attachments:

getting older, taken on the 14th Nov, so nearly a month old. Ive called him Joey, quite original, but i was so stuck for names Attachments:

Hi Gemtia - I wondered where you got to as I was waiting for budgies about the same time as you but I got mine in September. What a long wait you have had, but you will find it is well worth it. Little Joey is lovely and I love the name, my first ever budgie was called Joe. You will have so much fun with him. Do keep us posted with pics (love the ones you've taken already) and his and your progress.

Aw he is gorgeous I love pieds and have a pied called Joey as well ,....bet you are so exited and cant wait to get him home after such a long wait .

Hi Guys....thanks for all your messages....im finally a budgie owner...his lovely. He was actually born on the 13th Oct. So his 5weeks and 5days. He looks so lost in his cage. Yesterday he was very quiet and did alot of sleeping. Ive been picking him up as much as possible, incase he starts losing his tameness. He tries to nip me a bit but it doesnt hurt to much as only a baby. Although he did draw blood which i didnt realise until half hour later. His very quiet at the moment, heard about three tiny noises so far. Currently his nestled in my roll neck top been there ages. IVe been trying to show him where his seed and water are, but i havent seen him drink yet...only what ive given him on my finger. His liking the seed stick i got him. I bought him a cosy snuggly thing as i was so worried last night at how cold it was. Ill put some pictures up on this thread. Gemma |
