I have two very similar, small ones, that I use for seed. The only thing I have against mine is that the little turned over edge on the rim is inclined to get budgie claws caught if used without the holders - if I am holding them in my hands, or put them down on the bench. The holder stops the claws from getting up underneath and getting caught. But easy to clean, and they look good, I think.

I use something similar as well. The size of the holder is also exactly right for using those little stoneware bowls (the kind used for making individual creme brûlée puddings etc.) Very handy. I had a heap of those and nothing to use them for until now.
