Hi all As some of you know, in 2009 my darling Cheepy hatched, but sadly died a few weeks later before his colour came out. I have always been curious to know what he (I don't know what his gender was but I call him a he) would look like. Here are the parents colours: Hen (Hayley) Albino (She was white with red eyes but I think she was spangle as well) Cock (Alex) Sky blue normal Can you tell by the parents mutations what his colours would have been? If so what would the colours be? My gorgeous Cheepy, not long before he died. RIP Cheepy... Nicola

I am sorry about your loss of Cheepy.
Firstly, a budgie can either be an Albino or DF Spangle and not both at the same time. As you know about budgies, I think maybe you mean to say that Hayley was split for spangle.
Secondly, the suffusion of light is too much in the picture and I cannot see the colors completely but by looking at the feet color and head feathers, I think it would have been some sort of grey pied. He must have taken the mutation from grandparents.

Thank you BB. If this helps, from memory I think Cheepy had a bit of blue coming out on his tail.

You're welcome I think then it would have been a blue pied. But as you know these are all guesses only.
