What colours would produce a colour like Beauty ? Would the 2 pieds I have throw something simular to her .? Ì have decided that due to Beautys health problems I wont use her to breed with and she will just be a pet house bird. Ì love her colouring so would like to breed one like her

Might help refresh people's memories if you put up a lovely clear photo of Beauty, Julie. Front and back would be good.

The one in the bottom left looks like a Dominant Pied whereas Beauty is a Recessive Pied. So to produce a Recessive Pied, you need budgies who are either Recessive Pieds or carrying Recessive Pied gene. For example a pair of Recessive Pied budgies would produce 100% Recessive Pied chicks. OR Two Normal Green budgies (like the one under the cuttlebone) who are split for Recessive Pied would produce around 25% Recessive Pied chicks. I tried to make it simple. I hope it worked

In order to be sure about the mutation, can you post more pictures of the white blue budgie? Sorry I don't remember the name.

Beauty looks like a double factor dominant pied so mating her to the dominant pied in the front of the picture should produce chicks similar to each parent
