Bert & Ernie have got a new swing and they love it. Bert was on it within minutes of it being out in the cage and Ernie was not far behind him. They spent all day taking turns to jump on and swing. When I got up this morning I found them sitting on it together as happy as anything and managed to get this picture. Bert & Ernie Oh and their human friend Nina Attachments:![](//storage.proboards.com/3362550/thumbnailer/n5kqaUyTsK2AdevyOkiw.jpg)

Isn't it funny how they love to swing, ive got to have 4 otherwise they argue like the devil over them and even then come night nights when the blanket comes out there is a fight for the best swinger, the faster the better ;D.

Swings are always popular, aren't they? Lovely to see them sharing. I do have the exception to the swing-loving budgies though. Smudge is off as soon as she possibly can - and only gets on if she's put on! ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

Berry and Woody have had a swing in their cage for months and I have never seen them on it. I think I might have caught sight of one or other of them having a go at getting on it a couple of times but then get very alarmed when it moves and a bit of flapping results. But I think they do like to give it a biff with their beaks to get it swinging. I think they are unusually cautious birds as they have taken a very long time to try out new places to perch even when they don't move and have a tasty treat as an incentive!
