Hello,
Is it a problem that she is always eating, more often than others? Her crop is not enlarging, but since she is all bubble-fluffed, I can't tell.
[One budgie we lost two years ago, although that one had severe diarrhea and vomiting, ate because she'd feel hungry as her main stomach wouldn't work so everything stuck in crop.]
She however is not vomiting, maybe tries to empty regurgitate but seldom.
I noticed that she drinks too (as opposed to last week), so she is not dehydrating.
If it is a worm, hope we are treating it OK.
Could those be the healing symptoms/side-effects from Panacur are what keep my budgie poorly? I assume worm treating does not happen overnight

PS: any kindhearted avian vets in South West, Bristol area?.. We do not want to loose budgie again :{
- Friday 7th Dec we had house dinner with friends and maybe were a bit louder next to budgies than normal
- Saturday 8th Dec one of our budgies (mother hen) Lina had poo stuck to her vent, dark (normal) colour (did not look at the shade though)
We thought it was stress from day before, so ignored - Sunday she felt brighter and no poo stuck anymore
- Monday she had poo stuck again, I gave apple (their favourite, carrots 2nd best) and water plenty
- Tuesday she was worse, fluffed up, and a poo stuck, which fell off eventually. I noticed she was regurgitating (though no liquid/food came up) and that triggered me to book the vet immediately.
- While waiting for visit the vet (same day), she had completely liquid droppings once, others were liquidy also, and light green
- Vet was not avian-specialist, but had young practitioners in exotic birds. Suspecting worm due to green feces, she prescribed Panacur, for 5 days, into beak. I started the treatment. They did not run test on feces, probably because they had no equipment.
Sad situation with vets here in South West, Bristol. And we are limited on finances, as well as taking a sick budgie long distances in a car not the best shaky experience either

- Tuesday-Saturday I gave her the right doses of 0.5ml, maybe a tiny drop wouldn't enter her beak, but a sufficient amount would. I'd also clean her vent with watered cotton swab if dirty. Once being caught/handled she'd freak out though , not hand tamed, but I always tried to treat her (and the rest 3 budgies in the cage) with millet after putting back in cage
- I forgot and gave her an extra 0.5ml does on Sunday (6th time), but I think that is not major
- During the treatment she did not improve. Though her feces not liquid anymore, but still building up on vent, one day more, one day less. All dark green, with normal white part in it. She'd go fluffed up, one day more, one day she'd look better
- Monday (yesterday) I handled her again to clean the vent, and accidentally squeezed her crop, then she
vomited some [stinky] liquid (crop/so mach juices+water?) - Today she is fluffed up quite a bit, but nothing else worse.
