Do (or can) hens raise their crown feathers in the same way cocks do? I know they can get flirty in the same ways cocks can ........ just wondering about the head feathers ...........

It's all due to the feather(directional feather above the cere)as show breeders we breed this into our birds.

I have to say that I have honestly never seen one of my hens do it but I will start watching them for you haha! The boys are the ones that excel at it, you should see some of my aviary boys when they get excited and flirty
