Re the hamster drinkers, I have one and two of my birds took to it immediately. My hen won't allow the thing anywhere near her. Silly girl! I don't think birds would go without water because they don't know how to use them, they can smell the water and will go looking for it. I am just too soft to take the second drinker away and make Smudge use the sipper. So guys, I would suggest getting one and seeing how your birds get on. They are not silly and may surprise you.

This one is quite expensive for a piece of plastic, but good as it has zero mess. Comes in different sizes for different birds.

The bunny bottles are what I use. Ive never had a problem, I think because the budgies are attracted to the shiny spout, but initially I would put their normal drinker next to it.

THE GLASS HAMPSTER BOTTLES DON'T DRIP , THESE ARE THE SAFEST ALL OTHER DRINKERS ARE BREEDING GROUNDS FOR DISEASE.
I PREFER SEED HOPPERS AS THEY CANNOT FOUL THESE AND THEY DON'T SCATTER AS MUCH SEED
