What an amazing story, made me want to cry though thinking of that poor little thing flapping in the water! Im so glad it was rescued! aww.........it was a chance in a million Sian, but ended up a "happy budgie" |

Some of you may remember, my budgie joined the family as a little tiny baby. He landed on my balcony railing one day, looked at me and check me out for a moment as i was on the phone just inside the french doors, then flew to me and danced on my head.
He was so hungry, and so overjoyed to be safe. I often wonder how far he had flown, where he'd come from and what adventures or misadventures he'd had on the way.
Their instinct to survive, even as little vulnerable babies, must be so strong.
