I understand cocks can do this sort of thing if they bond with another male - one takes on the female role, sort of - and can lose the full breeding-blue of his cere. Is this likely with a hen? She is with another hen and one cock. She was close to the other cock who I lost around a month ago, and since has been schoozling up to the other hen. This past week I have seen the cock trying to get close to her, and she isn't hunting him off as she used to.
