Hi, I'm new to the forum but not new to budgies having had them all my life. I haven't however had cockatiels and that is the problem. I have an indoor aviary with 6 budgies and 2 cockatiels. I have been feeding them a mixed aviary seed but they don't eat all of it as there is some bits for canaries and finches. There are sunflower seeds in the mix that the cockatiels eat but I'm not sure if they eat anything else. I also provide fruit and veg but the tiels don't seem to eat it.
Is there anyone else who keeps tiels and budgies together and if so what do you feed them?

Hi Buy any cockatiel seed mix without the sunflower. They are very tasty but are very fattening & should only be fed as a treat. Budgies are ok on a cockatiel mix..B.J.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I buy the food in large sacks and am coming to the end of the current sack so wanted to make sure I get the right food for all of them.
