He's gorgeous! You're a very lucky budgie owner there! Keep going and I'm sure you'll both get there eventually! He definitely wants to be friends with you! Good luck to you both

Echo is so pretty :-) Hope the training continues to go well. I'm afraid I can't offer any advice on training anything from budgie to dog. I'm useless with anything other than horses lol. All my animals remain feral apart from the chickens and horses which is odd as they are the only ones that live outside the house

Thank you Ira, Echo prefers to be called handsome but I think he's pretty too. Nat, this is the first time I've trained anything apart from our dog. The parrots were all hand tame when we bought them. The chickens are feral, tortoises and the bearded dragon don't really get tame and my son took on the guinea pigs and one of them kicks me when I touch it. As for the 5 budgies and the 2 cockatiels, in the aviary, they freak out whenever I walk in.

Hi Starlingqueen!
I've had my Toni for about 5 months as well now and it seemed like nothing happened at first, thanks to all the good tip from the lovley people on this forum we have now progressed enormously! I say as many others, spending a lot of time with the bird and have a lot of patience! Good luck!

I sit right next to echo most of the day and night. I have had more success recently. I can now get him on my hand quite easily and so can my children.
