Just bought some fruity-flavored pellets from the pet shop (vetafarm brand). Hopefully I will be able to try out some of these tasty treats soon Nicola

Thanks for these Nicola. When I get a spare moment I might try making one of those birdie biscuits. Boo keeps trying to eat my crackers, so some bird specific crunchy crackers could be good. I think I'll try making something that's a bit like sesame crackers, but with trill seed and millet seed baked into the outside. I've also got some budgie and finch crumble, which is like pellets, somewhere. I'll throw a little of that in there too. Yum.

No worries Stace I'm thinking of making so yummy treats too for myself- ah... the budgies! Maybe I will make some now...I'm feeling like a chef... Nicola

On the subject of pellets, I got some of the Beaphar ones (complete budgie food) a while back and kept them available for quite a while. I don't think my budgies took to them. I now grind them up and sprinkle some on their germinated seeds. Has anyone got their budgies to eat pellets like that as they are?
I have also had no success in getting them to try biscuit-type foods.
I am hoping Luee might be a bit more open to new possibilities.

That's why I thought I could bake them into a cracker. I'm surprised your mob don't like biscuity things. Mine can't resist anything crunchy that makes as much crumbly mess as possible. He goes mad for toast or crackers.
