Well it has now been a year to the day since my Monty Monts left to join many others budgie pals in the land of millet and swings. I am sure she has created absolute havoc among the residents when she arrived but I still miss her so. However, on a more positive note, I'd like to think that she set me on a true journey of my own as I would have never have decided to get four more feathereds in the future. There are so many things in the birds I have now that remind me of her and make me smile. So I have decided today is a happy day, as she did her job well. To my little pickle-ina, I will always love you

She was so lovely, wasn't she. I remember how she loved a little scratch on her chin, making those happy meeps of bliss.

She was such a sweet little bird. She inspired budgie madness, so that has to be good

She was gorgeous. She went too soon but was here long enough to make a big impact. Sweet little girl.

Yes, Sam. A Year goes sooo quickly and somehow it only seems like yesterday. She was a little beauty, with that unique henny nature that we all came to love. She definitely left an impression on us all, never to be forgotten, always remembered with a smile. I will be a day late, but will drink a toast to the gorgeous Mont-ster tonight. Monty, you may not be here, but you are in the very best of company. Look out for us all, sweetie. Some of us need more looking after than others.
