hi i did read this but really wanted someone to look at the pictures and see what they think , my othere baby at this age had lots more feathers at this age but was raised in a breeding cage in a heated shed these babies are outside in a aviery should this make a difference ,hhelen

The fluff has been plucked from the babies bodies, this is what happened to my babies. Look for my thread titled "why has the fluff gone?" in Budgie talk general for all the advice I was given. It worked, but 2 weeks later she started to pluck them again on their heads, so keep a very sharp eye on her or foster them out which is what Barrie recommended I do but I couldn't as I didn't have another pair...

This picture does not look good at all. Remove the hen and the chicks would be fine with the cock, as you said they are above three weeks old.
