Only recessive pied males have a pink cere and the recessive pied hens have normal hen coloured ceres so should be easy enough to tell apart. They also don't develop iris rings. I think this is the type of pied that Marleen was talking of. Dominant pieds ceres and eyes act as any other colour birds so I think you are correct in saying shes a girl. There is no chance the pied colouring in her is recessive pied as this is a genetic impossibility as the mutation is recessive to spangle and pretty much everything else ;-) Also the white spot she has at the back of the head is only characteristic of dominant pieds. She will develop iris rings in time, I think its usually around 5 or 6 months :-) So what your saying is as she's a dominant pied she will develop the iris ring in her eyes and she's def a hen? the photos I've just taken are true to the colour that I see in person as the lighting is good here in the day.

Cedric is a yellow face cobalt normal. The yellow face leaks down into the blue feathers to give the green tinge. A rainbow budgie has to have a few different colour mutations. I think it needs to be a clear wing, opaline yellow face sky blue. Sky looks like a hen from the latest pics as her cere looks whitish brown. If she was a young cock her cere would be a dark pink. And yep, she will get iris rings :-) Heres a link to a budgie colour identifier page :-) www.budgieplace.com/colors.html

Sorry if I've created confusion!
