I have sixteen budgies or sale as I am giving up budgies. They range from 5 months to 2 years. The younger ones were hand reared but are now in the aviary but they can be handled and trained, theres three grey spangle girls and one grey green spangle cock. My others are between 1 and 2 year old that are ideal for breeding. £3 each. Will sell separately. They need to be gone as soon as possible. :-( Sue

Sad to hear you are giving up but sometimes it's the right thing to do... I gave up when I was 18 and left home for college. I'd jump at your offer if I was nearer enough but I'm way down south and probably no where near you at all.

Thanks Lesley. It's proving hard to finding them new homes really, my local pet shop just had a load in so she can't take them. Never mind I will keep trying. Sue

Might sound a daft idea but if you are on Face Book you could let people on there know that they need rehoming.
Would the local pet shop agree to allowing you put an advert in their window? They would benefit from new customers buying seed and supplies if not the sale of the birds.
I hope you are soon able to find them new lodgings. Good luck.

Good news, all my budgies have gone. Through word of mouth from a close friend a man came and had them all for his aviary. I stood chatting to him for a while and he said he would like to breed some of them and thought i had some lovely colours. So I am pleased he liked them and he has taken them into an aviary where they are going to be happy. Sue

Thats great news Sue. Its so hard to find good homes for them and such a worry. I had a mates aviary full to rehome this week and advertised here and on fb, but it was also through word of mouth a nice elderly gentleman in the next village took some :-) Nice too that they'll be in an aviary at this time of year enjoying the sun :-)
