Filamel died this morning while I was at work. I knew she was going yesterday, but she really fought hard up until late yesterday evening. She had a dinner of cooked green beans and carrots and later her Dad/ boyfriend Mega joined her and cuddled up to her all night giving her kisses. She was making that cute content chortle when he did :-) This morning she had gone to the floor and Mega sat above looking concerned so I opened the door and eventually he flew back in the aviary to his other wife Lump. At first he was looking at me, and then at her not quite decided on what to do, but must have realised that there was not much option and I certainly didn't want to leave him there while she died. I'm glad she had that night with Mega and felt some warmth and company during her last hours :-)
Oh that's very sad Nat. I am sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Filamel.
