Right so I'm after some kind of caged salad/fruit/veg holder as sky is a monkey and rips everything I put in the clips to pieces and throws most of it on the cage floor. i also chop up pieces of fresh and put in there seed pots but she does the same,I know she eats some but she's a messy girl and I'm not sure cedric gets much once she's finished throwing it about! Lol
so what I'm after is a bowl that will keep it from being thrown about, if anything should exist, I wouldn't mind but they don't eat off the cage floor so it goes to waste.
on another note yesterday sky enjoyed a basil bath, ohhh it was so funny and cute to see. I wet the leaves and hung up in the cage and she proceeded to splay her wings out and rub her chest over it. sky is very confident when it comes to fresh foods yet cedric not so much. Still haven't managed to get sky to step up yet she seems to panic and get away even with millet on my hand. I'm sure in time we will get there.
so any thoughts as regards a bowl?

I will see what they think to that.

This might be a bit more durable if you want to hang it on the side of the cage (in or out): It can be used for other stuff too

That's great OP - seal of approval if your budgie likes it

I've been trying to think of ways to give the budgie I'm minding more room in his cage, and I saw these online yesterday. I thought I could replace his built-in water and seed bowls with these. I might be able to make more room to put some perches in so the whole cage could be used, while avoiding get pooped on from above. Are they any good, Hezz? Would they be okay for water and seed bowls?

Would they be okay for water and seed bowls? Water would be fine, Stace. The only thing I found with seed is that the pot has to be full, otherwise the budgie has to stand on the edge of the pot and almost disappear into the thing - they really don't need to be as deep as they are, and for where the perch is, and the size of a budgie (normal budgies, anyway) the seed needs to be almost to the top of the pot. Oh, also you can't miss blowing out the husks; because it is only a small surface area, they can't push the husks out of the way and dig for the seeds underneath. PS Sam, honestly, I'm not sure you do! You have been too long without; but she would shake up those big boys of yours!
