Hiya just noticed got one female budgie going bald on the head any ideas wat it couldbe iv separated her from rest of budgies in case of anything else thanks

She hasn't been having a heavy moult, has she? I have seen Sparky go through this twice now, where he has lost all the feathers right in front very much like your hen. But the feathers have soon grown back and you would never have guessed.

I've experienced the same as Hezz has with a moult. It was those feathers just above the cere.

Me too with Hob. Panicked for a big as he was so itchy and then a bald patch, but feathers quickly grew back. Hope that is all it is.

Thanks for the help guys yeah she was goingthrough a moult quite a few of them r the now but shes the worst rest r ok will keep an eye on her
