Hello everyone Mentioned in my first post that my budgie was rescued, I guess on a whim, as birds really aren't my area of interest. WELL, I'm currently training to be a vet, and my main passion is reptiles, so I thought I'd share some pictures of my other pets Here's my big girl, Raptor. She's a 6ft black throat monitor lizard - another rescue. Here are two of my corn snakes, Basil and Jake - again, rescues. This is my boa, Snakey - rehomed for a friend. Joey - our rescued Hermann's tortoise, had her for nearly 10 years now I would think, not sure of age though. These are feathered Hansel I and Gretel, my ducks when they were younger. I guess this guy is my favourite - my Bullmastiff x Rottweiler, Bubba. I've also got another corn snake, a king snake, several rats - furry and hairless, the budgie and some tarantulas. Any of you guys into reptiles too? I've had a bad reception on my rat forums due to my other pets (as I'm sure you can imagine!) so thought I'd scope this one out

Heh, everyone loves the Bubster. He's naughty though. I was sad about my rat forums, but apparently you can't keep rats as pets and be a good rat owner if you happen to also like/keep snakes who can't help but eat rodents. &Thanks mizloco

I am not into reptiles at all, vacanteyes, but getting upset over someone keeping an animal that naturally preys on another is a bit OTT in my opinion. It's a bit like kicking anyone off this forum for having a cat! As long as you are a responsible pet owner, your business is your business.
