Layton is now in a new home. And I have a new addition but not a budgie lol I will let everyone know on the other threads.

Aw, thats a shame Wouldn't it be possible to keep her separately until she is more tame and settled. I have had some bullying young hens before who have settled down completely once they are over the terrible teens and hit breeding age. One was particulary bad and I had to keep her separately from the others and couldn't even let her out in the room to fly with them as she literaly used to grab their legs and throw them off the swings! , but it gave me a real good chance to tame her and eventually she matured and has never been nasty since Layton is really pretty

I have tried separating them but Layton gets worked up and tries to get out of the cage via the bars or food shoot lids. Sometimes she's lovely to Ophy but most of the time she drags ophy off the perch and pulls her tail feathers and bites her feet.
