Having read through this thread I decided to try mine on hard boiled egg. I fancied one too so we shared. Mine loved it! I haven't seen them all so enthusiastic about sticking their beaks in before. All 6 of them sat around a new plastic flower saucer on the bottom of the cage eating delicately scoffing. It was even more popular than their favourite brocolli! It's now added to the weekly menu.
Now I remember telling you about this before. I need more sleep!! Sorry.

Hi All, I'm new to this forum and I tried the eggfood for my budgies. But none of them looked interested in it. So I sprinkled millet over it just in case it attracts them. But even that was of no use. Only one came down and had the millets that was in the side of the eggfood! Shall I continue giving them this regularly so that at some point of time they start having it?

Shall I continue giving them this regularly so that at some point of time they start having it? If they are not breeding, they won't require a lot of egg-food. They have it a lot less in ratio than seeds and other food. Also, every new food is always tried for some time until they start eating it.
