Yes there are some under the feeding section that members have given theirs.

Seeding grass is a budgie's original, proper food. The only thing to watch is make sure it isn't sourced from beside busy highways etc because of the pollution factor, and wash before giving it to them. Mine get a selection of about a dozen different types each and every day.

I have grass growing on the floor of the aviaries. They don't seem to eat the grass, unless it's in seed. Then you see the birds hanging in bending stalks, rather cute!

my budgies love it when i put a massive clump of grass in the aviary for them. they spend ages chewing it up and carrying it around in their mouths! very funny to watch!

Marleen, they have a go at every part - stalk, leaves, seed heads. Here are a couple of photos I took a while back as I thought the grass looked rather good in its "vase". I have found out through trial and error that there are a couple they don't seem to like, and there seem to be a few favourites, but generally all grass is good ..... BUT I have no idea about ornamental grasses. I have not been able to find anything that says a particular grass is not good to give, just watch for spraying (bl**dy council!) and pollution fumes from beside busy roads.

Without me realising they may have eaten the grass they liked in the aviaries, and left a variety they are not keen on... the green carpet looks nice though, so I'm not complaining. I will experiment with different grasses, thanks!
