No fair We don't have Christmas and not single item related to Christmas. Good luck to all and what about my suggestion of making a vegetable the shape of a Christmas tree and letting the budgies nibble on it? I would even accept a star as christmassy! come on BB!

Never seen Christmas. Never been to a Christmas. All I know about Christmas is that people cook turkey, and what I saw in "A Christmas Carol" some old bloke. My knowledge of Christmas ends here

My knowledge of Christmas ends here BB many people celebrate a Christmas that is secular or not religious at all, as a Christian I celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus, who you may have heard of if you read the Quran as He is respected as a prophet by many of the Islamic faith? Jesus (who Christians follow) was born in the Middle East so the way we celebrate here whether Christian or not, is probably not very much like the original Christmas!

Thank you all for your thoughts and tips. I hope we are not converting Marianne's contest thread into something else I know that Christmas is related to the birth of Prophet Jesus. The belief in Prophet Jesus and all other messengers of God is required in Islam and a requirement of being a Muslim. The Qur'an mentions Prophet Jesus 25 times. What I meant was that I don't know how the Christmas is celebrated, and even if I do, I will not have the stuff to picture my budgies around it . But that's all right, after all my budgie got only one vote in the last contest. LOL ;D

Here are some links about the Eid Al Adha, which is on 6 November. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_al-Adhaislam.about.com/od/hajj/a/adha.htm

Must get my thinking cap on BB I don't see why you shouldn't enter with an Eid Festival themed photo as you don't celebrate christmas.

There are some great photo's/pic's on the web which budgies could be superimposed on....but sadly that would be cheating so......let's look forward to some very original and 'different' photo's with budgies not just pecking at xmas trees'

I too look forward to seeing what people come up with. I've just splashed out on a new camera for myself so I plan to try it out tomorrow and see if I can get any christmassy photos ;D
