Please help - Free to good home

Hi everyone,

I'm in urgent need of assistance, due to very unfortunate circumstances, a new home is needed for 11 Budgies (5 male, 6 female) and 2 Cockatiels (1 male, 1 female). The Budgies are the pet type, not exhibition. They'll come with all the cages, feeders, toys and food etc if required.

10 of the budgies are in a purpose built very large indoor aviary, 1 is in a small cage on his own as he can't fly and the 2 cockatiels are in a ferplast aviary.

I've done my best to take care of them but I'm concerned as I'm no expert and am not in a position to take them on. I made a promise to do my best to rehome them.

Located in Bristol.

Unfortunately the Gentleman is no longer able to come and collect them as it's understandably a bit too far out of his way and I myself have no way of transporting them. The birds are still available to someone willing to offer a good home. Many thanks.

I just wondered if you had put cards in any local shop windows.. or onto Gumtree - they do free ads I think and there might just be people looking for budgies

or try a local breeder who may know of people, even a vet?

good idea ffiscool, thanks. The poor birds need to be rehomed asap as I really don't have a clue about looking after them, just doing my best.

The birds were collected last night by a very nice chap and his wife, thanks everyone. I just hope that they settle well in their new home quickly, I understand birds are easily stressed.
