Does anyone have any good bird websites that sell budgie safe toys/perches etc and ship to Australia that are very reliable? Toys are so expensive for the buds and can really add up. (They will be for the new "holiday house" which we haven't bought yet, but will be completely empty so it would be quite dear) I haven't ordered anything for the birds online before and I want to be 100% sure that they are all safe. I get very paranoid about that- especially toys and perches which they will be chewing on regularly. So, any links? Preferably ones that you have ordered from before and are very happy with. Thanks in advance, Nicola

This is one of the best bird companys on line,i and many others on here have used them alot and even if you see things on the web page that say 'sold out' you can still order as every thing is made to order, even if they have not got something and you have an idea they will try and make it for you, also if you need different sizes ect ect.....The owners are called Karen and Darren so why not email them and ask if they deliver to you ect...if you say to them that sarah elfie and Meeko told you about thir site....they are VERY friendly, helpful and extremly reliable...here is the link xxx www.naturalbirdco.co.uk/

Don't buy perches, Nic. Go and cut your own. They really are the best thing and this way you can have all sorts of sizes and interesting shapes. This is the place I sourced my bells from ...... yes they are dear, but a one-off buy. Maybe you can ask for donations for Xmas and birthday??? I have a mix of the small and medium and the two sizes give different notes. www.myparrotshop.com/about-us/info_126.htmlBesides the swings, I realize that all my toys are home-made, with bits from other toys that didn't last the distance and I have salvaged the good bits, or beads and things I have bought from a craft shop. My parrot shop also has toy making "bits" from memory. Hope this helps - you will note this is a Melbourne company, so freight for you should be as cheap as chips.
