Lol Sam! Give you a heart attack did it?
Btw, we finally got rid of that awful huntsman in the aviary! I voted to kill it but dad decided it would be better if we sent him on a holiday over the fence instead We are also going to do a ginormous clean of the aviary soon because I'm on SCHOOLLLL HOLIDDDAYYYS (WITH AN ASSIGNMENT-oh what joy ) so I am ecstatic that I shall get to watch the sea of cockroaches that have accommodated themselves (without paying rent I will add )in the aviary, go flying in a cockroach water fall all the way over the fence. Something to look forward to

Enjoy those COCKROACHES, Nicola. Are they little southern sized cockroaches, about 2-3cms in length or the tropical, hospital grade ones that are more around the 6-8cm size??? Are you on school hols now too??? How come??? Usually Qld and NSW hols are staggered by a week, you guys being the week later. Drew's on hols too, first day off being today. He didn't appreciate being woken at 9.30am by the tree mulcher from up the hill!!!

No, thank god, they are only the small size ones. But there seems that they have a huge family in there because I have seen all different size babies and adults come out.
Yes, today is the first day of school holidays! Finished yesterday and go back on a Tuesday in a couple of weeks. This term was 10 weeks and the next will be 11- thank god to holidays!

Oh, I see. Enjoy those 11 weeks, ....... not!!! Drew has just finished an 11 week term, and was totally exhausted by the end of this last week. But the next for him is only eight, the last is always a short one. Did you get your results back for your assignment?

Oh he's a lucky duck then isn't he? No, we just handed our assignments in on Thursday. We will probably get our marks back early next term. We watched it in class though and I think I scarred everyone for life lol. Part of it was on their wild life which involves some PG 13+ parts and when that came on, lol, it was hilarious watching everyone's face expressions I shall let you know how it goes. I'm excited as well Nicola

Hilarious, Nicola!!!! I do love your way with words! I am sure you did an excellent job of it, having such a wonderful species to concentrate on. As I mentioned earlier, this one was more a labour of love than a school assignment.

Haha glad I could give you a laugh That assignment was much more pleasurable then the one we have now. The current one for history is on the Medieval Islamic World. Such an easy....easy topic don't you think

One thing for sure, you are guaranteed to have learnt something along the way. Modern History I find a bit of a bore - too political - but the older stuff is much more interesting. You will be alright.
