I do believe there are comments going around about me breeding a pink budgie , we all know according to the experts this is not possible, or is it? This was one i bred, she shows a pink sheen to her feather. I did breed with her and all the chicks were a normal colour.  Then along comes another nest mate that was finger tame , that was until she found her wings. She took off and dropped inside a 25 kilo bag of Thrive and Gloss, this is a red coloured supplement. Washing her did not remove the red/pink colouring.  I posted this picture on the old forum , few connected with the date April the first and assumed i had bred a pink budgie, I was pulling the readers legs. |

Opaline cinnamon spangle sky blue , i also know there are dilutes hidden away in this line

hi barrie i had what i thought was a budgie with pink in the feather, but that has gone shes just a normal off white bird, so disapointing, lol.

I would have thought with all the mutations of dog going about, ie.,labradoodle, cockerpoo,etc., that someone would have come up with a new mutation of budgie, get your thinking caps on breeders,we need a red one??
