My budgie has a crusty cere? Top of her beak, it is brown and kind of a whitey color, is she sick or dying? I only got her today so I don't know

Welcome to this forum! I trust you will enjoy the company of fellow budgie enthusiasts. I'm no expert but this could be caused by a mite. The condition is called scaly face. You can give her one drop of Ivermactin in her neck. The health page of this forum will explain the strength and give more information. This is nothing too alarming if treated appropriately. Good on you for picking this up early and all the best for your budgie!

Thank you, should I treat all my birds for this as a precaution?

welcome, I have been using Ivermectin and use just one drop if the spot on one.
Did you get her from a pet shop, or breeder? perhaps you could double check with them in case they know what it is and if the others have it.. my budgie didnt have classic mites, but scratched a lot, and had brown above cere but not crusting as such. he has white at sides of beak and i have been adding vitamin drops in case vitamin A deficiency.
