Ok so kiwi was in her nest box for around an hour I heard a tap and ignored it thinking she was scratching or chewing I've shone a torch in the box and smack in the middle of the concave a tiny perfect white egg I run around the house screaming in excitement can anyone tell by color if its fertile or not here's a picture postimg.org/image/lesct83i3/ I'm so glad 3 months of conditioning has paid off I just hope to God they're fertile

It wont be fertile yet, the hen needs to incubate it. lol

Thanks guys she's in and out of the nest box today she wasn't in it after laying the egg yesterday I'm expecting another egg tomorrow afternoon but Friday or Saturday seems more realistic

Some hens start the incubation from second and some even from third egg, so fingers crossed for you The hen will however keep rotating the egg meanwhile. So there shouldn't be any disturbance for her at all.
