Hi i am just starting out and would like to know what is the ratio of cock to hens so i can make sure i have the correct balance in my aviary. I have brought a few young birds and will have to wait for them to mature to know what they are but want to make sure before i buy any more that i have a good balance.

Hi Lisa and welcome to the forum  It depends on what you intend to do in future. If you want to breed then go for similar number of cocks and hens. Otherwise only cocks would go along very well. |

Hiya Av got 15 cocks in my flight and about 30 hens but should have more males but hard trying to get some the now
