So Today I got paid, and to amazement I got an additional €200 commission, which I wasn't expecting. So I decided it was time to go treat myself for once. So Welcome my new buddy
He's still sitting in a budgie breeding cage, will have to get the time to get him a bigger one. Maybe you guys can suggest suitable cages for the little guy.
And I also need to come up with a decent name.
Btw if anyone can help me with a sex or any type of info on my new friend, it's all welcome. All I know is that he's 5 months old. And that he chews alot. He chewed the wooden perch already so I had to put in a plastic one temporarily.

He/she looks a beauty. I have no experience of cockatiels but there are a few on here that do. The name Munchkin springs to mind if that is what he/she likes to do.

This one.
But try to get as bigger, as you can afford.

If you look at the underside of the tail, if there are horizontal bars/stripes then it's female if not, male. Or you could post pics of the tail. Looking at it I would say female as the face isn't bright yellow, hens have a sort of grey wash over the yellow.

Aww! Congratulations. I have no experience with cockatiels but if I got one like yours, I would name him Max.

Males are more vocal whereas females are more cuddly.

Nawwww she's adorable! I recently rescued a cockatiel hen (i think) as well. She has a nasty bite on her (hence her name Rosalie after the vampire on twilight) but she's stop hissing at me which is good. She is in with the budgies now and is loving the space. I presume she hasnt had a large area to fly in before Nicola
