Thats what I thought originally starlingqueen. 'Her' Initial name was Rocco. But she has a very similar tail to Kikkinu's new tiel, only wider so I presumed hen? And her base colour isnt the usual grey it is like white/yellow

I truly hope you dont mind me posting this on your thread kikkinu, but I thought as we are talking about cockatiel genders I might as well check Rosalies... Here is her tail starlingqueen. This is why I think she is a hen: And she isn't very vocal. Just an occasional tweet.

Does look like a female from the tail, what are the wings like, do they have markings or are they a solid colour?

I can't be entirely sure because I havent been able to hold her for a while, but from watching her fly I think they are a solid colour EDIT: Do u mean UNDER the wings?

I named my cockatiel lucky as his was bought from a small petshop where he was kept with budgies and finches and anyone know if you can cure a ingrown toenail on a cockatiel??

I dont mind at all Nicola. I would also suggest your tiel is a female. If you were to put her in front of a mirror you'll probably notice she will loose interest quickly, where as a male is likely to show off alot. And yes like you pointed out females tend to just have a whistling like Eek-Eek call. A male on the other hand is quite noisy.

Ye been calling her Alive for 2 days now, and she comes to me when I do. Probably for the treats not the name but hey ho, at least she seems to like it
