im just curious as to who feeds veg or fruit daily to their budgies and how you serve to your budgies. As much as they will eat or a set amount?. Served with egg seems to be a popular way of feeding, does anyone have a different way their birds prefer?. Will be interesting to know .

Hi Ryan, i dont believe in feeding veg/fruit every single day. i feed it twice a week and i use a mix of sweetcorn, grated carrot, cress and seed mixed together i give this twice a week and rotate what i use each week.

I feed veg and fruit daily, though he doesn't always eat it, though he does frequently.
I present it in different ways. Sometimes he'll get a bunch of wet greens hung from the cage - maybe basil, parsley, spinach. He gets a hanging skewer with thin rounds of two types of veg or fruit - like carrot, beetroot one day, corn and cucumber another day, half a strawberry and a leaf of basil, and so on. Depends what I've got.
Sometimes I'll really finely dice all sorts together in a small bowl, into almost seed-like portions - chilli, beetroot, garlic, broccoli, parsley, basil, red pepper, cucumber, carrot - whatever I've got. Not much of it, just a tablespoon or two full.

Maybe three or four times a week. Usually I just peg it to the sides of the cage. They seem to eat more that way, or put it on a skewer. In a shallow bowl with a bit of water, but not much gets eaten then, so usually a clothes peg and the bars of the cage. Mine are a sophisticated lot! Not!

I do exactly as Corie described. The only difference is that I chop the hard boiled eggs and vegetables separately, and serve them separately as well. Thus the hard boiled can stay longer in the food dishes than vegetables.
