For the record, I started Thomas on Milk Thistle on the 6th Dec, & alternating with L-C from the 17th. There was a noticeable improvement by the 23rd Dec. I really have no idea whether it was the milk thistle, L-C or both, but it was definitely from them.

It sounds like your Star is really benefiting from the extra veg/fruit etc. :-) That is wonderful news! I'd say carry on what you're doing, perhaps with the milk thistle also. You may not need any L-C.

Sounds like your vet is not terribly open to suggestions from the ones paying the bills, Jack. This can make it hard to get some positive feedback on what you are doing ...... some vets, like doctors, hate the sound of anything natural or holistic, but if nothing else, you can tell them a) where is the harm? and b) you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Another thing that is supposed to be good for fatty liver is wheatgrass. I was growing this for Blue as well, but he didn't take to it too well. Preferred his native weeds grasses and I was basically wasting my time.
