Most millet spray nowadays has mould spores in it. Some years its been harvested while damp and big shipments into the UK get spread to shops all over so its hard to find any good. The safest way to feed millet spray is to soak it in vanodine or F10 disenfectant, rinse it well and dry it as quick as possible before feeding. This will get rid of all fungi and bacteria. It also has been known to find rodents in cargos of imported millet spray! I can smell mouse smell very easily and on at least 50 of the millet I stick my nose on in petshops I pick up that rodent scent! Now I no longer buy millet from petshops but order french red millet from www.junglegold.co.uk

The link didn't work for me, maybe their server is being maintenance d so I'll try again later. Where do I look for vanodine or F10? Do you think that I could find it in petco or petsmart?
