Hi
Can anyone help
One of my aviary budgies (rescued on Common) (so not sure of age) has been fluffed up for about 2 days, she has been eating and drinking and has been flying around, however tonight she was very quiet . A male budgie has been regurgitating food and feeding her. Her feathers around her beak are stained brown. Her cerie is very darkish brown. I have bought her indoors. She passed urates in the carry case, they are white and runny.
I have sprinkled some Guardan Angel in her water and on her trill
The birds in the aviary have Trill, finch, canary seed and are given grated carrots and the green shoots of germinated seeds, which she eats
Thanks
Chris

She sounds like she needs to see a vet asap.

So Sorry it happened to two of my females. Their immune system could not handle the breeding yet. Was your female older than a year? Also check the male for fungal crop infection-he could be a host and transfer it. Just treat him for crop fungus. RIP sweet Angel. I've cried those tears 3 times and promised myself never again! 18 Budgies now of which one Male is sick. I am working on saving him from the jaws of death. SAD SAD............
