Thats Filamel:) She is a y/f violet pied. As a chick she was really violet all over like her mum next to her in the pic until the y/f merged into her colour:) Her brother is the murky green one talking to the grey. Believe it or not he was once violet!

Hehe BB. Percy the sky hen is a broody old thing. Her old owner thought she was male so got her a female friend. She was not best pleased about that! When she arrived here she was getting jiggy within 20 minutes lol! I found her on the floor the other week trying to incubate a quail egg! Its a pity shes a bit old to let her have a round.

Lovely pictures! I'd never get anything done watching all those gorgeous birds! Barney is very colourful. I didn't realise bourkes could have that kind of colouring.

You're so lucky to have a "bird friend"! My friends would look at me very strangely if I said, "Come round to mine & we can watch the birds for a few hours"!

Haha it was sort of her fault I got into budgies. We used to be mates at work and one day I visited her home and found she had budgies and a few other birds and I got the bug from her;) Lol the rest of my friends and family think I'm a bit of a nut:D

I didn't notice before, Nat, but I am happy to see someone elses' budgies with bent tail feathers! Although Smudge seems to have stopped that trick for the moment.......I wonder if that will last?
