My Guardian Angel arrived today, along with the Calcivet. The Guardian Angel I have given a pinch to their soft food mix, which Mildred (the stressed hen) absolutely adores, so I know she will get a good dose. However, with the Calcivet, according to the label maybe a bit more tricky to administer. I have 4 birds in the indoor aviary and little Charlie in his cage. It seems that I have to make a litre batch of water and calcivet, which will be a waste, unless I can store it for a few days, but then how often do you give calcivet? Regards

You can't store made up calcivet, it gets black mould in it. I've tried keeping it in the fridge but it makes no difference.

Re calcivet, what are the instructions for a litre? You will be able to break this down to a more reasonable amount. Breeders need it more often than non-breeders, but I am not sure on the frequency, or whether you intend to breed ...... the egg-layer would probably appreciate it. I'll leave the question for the breeders.
Guardian Angel should rightly be kept for emergency use only, not as regular supplement.

Break down the given dosage on the bottle. For example from full described dosage to half for 500 ml, and to quarter for 250 ml and so on. Only make what you can use within a day. Don't overdose, it can be fatal.
Non breeding budgies don't need calcivet that much. Three days in a month would be good.
Ask your breed that how much he used to give to his non breeding birds, and let us know too.

Guardian Angel is better administered in water.

Just make up less of it. Say, 1/4 of the amount of Calcivet in 250ml water, or 1/10th the Calcivet in 100ml.
I'm always having to cut the amounts on directions for supplements and meds as I only have one bird. For me, usually 100ml amounts are plenty for just one bird for a day's water bowl's worth.

Sorry, didn't mean to repeat everyone else's post. I wrote that advice hours ago, but it didn't go up as Buddy Boo had jumped on my laptop and was trying to save the entire internet to my Work folder!

Thank you. It was easier to post the question than it was to find my glasses to read the small print on the bottle! I think I've thrown them out in the rubbish... D'oh!

What? The glasses or the bottle? Either way, you are snookered!
