Is there a given time to change the branches in the aviary, it's always difficult to clean them properly,as the budgies make such a mess, I have and only use apple branches in mine, as I know they are quite safe, how often do you change yours...............

I grow my own willow Brian and like to keep the aviary perches fresh and green , these are changed every six weeks.

Because willow is so invasive Brian i have stacks of it , it stays supple over this 6 week period...................before i was growing it i would just snip branches off during my afternoon walk and renew it at random
