I can't wait to get my new tablet from Maplin on Monday. Using my iPod is sending my eyes crazy and now I have joined this forum I need a bigger screen, it must be old age setting in. ::)I used to have a laptop but its that old and my husband needed one so he would stay out of my way :-) so soon I will be able to see all your photos of your birds better.

My new tablet has a 10 inch screen which beats using my iPod that has a 3 inch screen. If I enlarge the writing on my iPod I only get a few words on a line and I have to move the screen across with my finger. I think it's old age that's making it worse barrie. I can't afford a new laptop but this new tablet is a lot cheaper so it will do, as long as I can get on the forum I am happy. Sue

Is it age though? Both my daughters have worn spec's since they were at school but I just started when I reached 60! I don't think we can blame age for everything (I hope!) I know men and women where I live that don't wear spec's and they're way older than me - even! Very fortunate. Perhaps it has something to do with how long we spend doing close work, like computing, reading, knitting, needlework or whatever? Mind 3 and 10 inch screens does seem rather small! My laptop is a 15 inch and is fine, I've also been told it's old - six years.....crumbs......

I gave my laptop to my husband because I wasn't using the Internet enough and now I have found this site I need one but the tablet will do. My optician said that my eyes have changed early in the way that I am long sighted and need glasses for reading besides having distance glasses. It must be my eyes that are old, but my mind will always be young and playful I think it is something to do with all the reading on the iPod. Sue I'm always happy on here barrie
