In the pet shop today I picked up two different vitamin supplements but I did not know whether they were any good or which to get. I am buying in advance in prep for the arrival all being well of our baby budgie at the end of the month, have got the iodine block and cuttlefish fish. Do I need a vit supplement and if so what shall I get?

Non breeding budgies won't need it, if they are eating varied diet consisting good seed mix, fruits and vegetables.

I have the Johnson's. Seeing as Joey eats nothing but seeds and occasionally millet I thought maybe he needed a boost now and then.

I am like mizloco and give them vits in their water when having a heavy moult along with egg food Sorry Moogie, but I'm a bit confused as to why egg food would need you to give vitamins? The heavy moult is understandable, but does egg food create a deficiency as well?
