Hi everyone I would like a little advice about my budgies,I have four budgies in a big cage indoors, three are really doing well.but i have one that at first he was really active playing with his toys and love bells and balls, but yesterday i noticed when the others flys out of there cage he didnt he would not come out he just stopped in his cage I thought he must of hurt his wing but i cannot see anythink there. I t is very unusual because he used to come on my finger when i have millet, but know he will come on when i just pick him up and lets me cuddle him and he is always eating too and he is putting on weight which until yesterday i thought he was slim. i was wondering maybe he is not a male could he be female because he is going round and he likes to be on the floor. I might take him or her to the vet to have her/him checked out. I have included some photos of him or her . Thanks all

I agree with Barry, he looks like a very sick little budgie. And from what you have described he needs to see a vet urgently. They will hide illness from us normally so are already seriously ill when we see signs like these. Hopefully he will respond well to some antibiotics though. I do hope he's feeling better soon!

Hope your little one is ok when you get him to the vets
But just for future reference how can you tell that its a bad bacteria build up. Is it the way he is puffed up?
