hi at the minute i live in a appartment which only has storage heaters its pretty cold at nights ! ...
what i wanna know is ... can budgies cope with cold or do they like warm ? at the min i have them sat in front of my hallogen heater lol they seem to be liking it haha

thanks brian ... i love my birdies i brought them into my bedroom during the day now were its warmer . just at night when im sleeping they go bk to my living room! phew i dont want poorly budgies .

Don't put them directly in front of the heater Scott. They'll get over-heated!

Do you have a thermometer? It all depends what temperature it is at night, budgies can adjust quite well.

So long as the temperature drops slowly over a couple of hours, budgies will be fine, it's only if you take them from hot to cold or visa- versa it would have an effect.........

they just in normal temperature for england .. which is winter lol they seem happy anyways flying about and singing this morning to my music ! bout to take a video lol

The budgies at work live outside all year around, even when there water freezes. The get a heat lamp in winter but its normaly only the quails that huddel under it, but i supose ther next boxes get pritty warm when there in it.

my budgie are in birdroom during the day they are free to go out , I have a heater in the birdroom for nights but just to keep it frost free the chicks in nest boxes are like toast so there warm enough. but never put them in front of a fire.
