Hello. I'm new here. I can't be sure what gender is this little one. It's about 3 months old. I named it Ragnar, but it seems that i may will rename it to Lagertha now. s/He? didn't talk or tried to talk. And felt a little different when i put it together with an old mate, i sensed some possible sexual interactions today, but i'm not sure of that either. If it's a she, is it safe to put this 3 months old with an old mate? Is it a she? Thanks:)

Okay thanks. I was told that it was male when i bought her, funny:) So, should i put her in the same cage with the old dude now? I mean he's possibly trying something, is it safe for her, uh.. progress? She's pretty dominant but, i don't know. Eventually, she is Lagertha.

If he's trying to mate with her, she's far too young.

Wait until she is at least 12 months old before breeding, please!! She is far too young to know what to do raising chicks, and it could even be detrimental to her health ....... she is no where near physical or sexual maturity.

They seem just friendly now. Should i separate their cages anyway? Is it like, he's gonna force her or something?

Make sure there is nothing in the cage that could be regarded as a nest-box, and keep an eye on them. Usually they are fine as long as they have no-where to nest, but there are exceptions.
